Leominster is the second largest city in Worcester County, with a 2010 population of 40,759. Routes 2 and 12 go through the community, and routes 190, 13, and 117 all start (or end) in Leominster. The city has several neighborhoods, including French Hill, Morse Hollow, Rice Hill, and the West Side. Although many older manufacturing plants have left the city, Leominster is still home to several plastics companies. Cultural groups include the Thayer Symphony Orchestra, the Central Massachusetts Repertory Theater, and the Leominster Art Association.
